Thigh Lift
Thigh Lift
Thigh lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to remove excess skin, tighten loose tissues, and, when necessary, reduce stubborn fat deposits in the inner or outer thighs. It is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing skin laxity following significant weight loss, aging, or genetic factors. The goal is to create firmer, smoother, and better-contoured legs while improving overall body proportions.
Each procedure is carefully tailored according to the patient's body anatomy, skin elasticity, and the degree of skin laxity. During surgery, excess skin is removed, and when appropriate, excess fat is sculpted or reduced using liposuction. Incisions are strategically placed within natural body creases whenever possible to minimize their visibility. The primary objective is to achieve natural-looking, balanced, and well-defined thigh contours that complement the rest of the body.
Following surgery, it is normal to experience swelling, temporary edema, mild bruising, and a feeling of tightness during the first few days. Most patients are able to return to their normal daily activities within approximately 2 to 3 weeks, although strenuous exercise and heavy physical activity should be avoided until approved by the surgeon. Wearing a compression garment as recommended helps support healing, reduce swelling, and optimize the final contour. As recovery progresses, the thighs gradually appear firmer and more refined.
