Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to improve the shape, size, and proportions of the nose while creating better harmony with the rest of the face. It can address aesthetic concerns such as a nasal hump, drooping nasal tip, wide nose, or asymmetry, while also correcting structural problems that may cause breathing difficulties. Every procedure is carefully tailored to the patient's facial anatomy, aesthetic goals, and natural facial features.
The surgical approach is selected according to the patient's individual needs and may involve either open rhinoplasty or closed rhinoplasty techniques. The objective is not only to enhance the appearance of the nose but also to preserve or improve its natural function and facial balance. Careful surgical planning ensures that the final result complements the patient's unique facial proportions while maintaining a natural appearance.
Following surgery, it is normal to experience mild discomfort, swelling, bruising, and temporary under-eye puffiness during the first few days. Most patients are able to return to their normal daily activities within 7–10 days, although complete healing requires more time. The final shape of the nose gradually develops over 6 to 12 months as swelling subsides. Attending scheduled follow-up appointments and following post-operative instructions are essential for achieving the best possible functional and aesthetic outcome.
