Neck Lift
Neck Lift
Neck lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to correct loose skin, excess fat, muscle laxity, and sagging in the neck and under-chin area. By addressing the visible signs of aging caused by gravity and reduced skin elasticity, the procedure creates a more defined, firm, and youthful neck and jawline. Every treatment is carefully tailored to the patient's facial and neck anatomy to achieve natural-looking results.
During the procedure, not only is excess skin removed, but the neck muscles may also be tightened, excess fat can be reshaped or removed, and the deeper tissues are repositioned when necessary. Incisions are typically placed around the ears and, in some cases, beneath the chin, where they remain well concealed. A neck lift may also be combined with a deep plane facelift, chin enhancement, or fat grafting to achieve more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
Following surgery, it is normal to experience swelling, mild bruising, temporary edema, and a feeling of tightness in the neck during the first few days. Most patients can resume their normal social activities within approximately 2 to 3 weeks, although complete healing varies from person to person. The final results continue to improve over the following months as swelling subsides. Following post-operative instructions and attending regular follow-up visits help ensure natural, long-lasting, and well-balanced results.
